Renovation & Expansion Project

Building on Our Legacy

The Topeka Country Club underwent an extensive facilities renovation and expansion project completed in January 2019. Improvements touch every aspect of club life, including a new health and wellness center, a new resort-style pool, dining facility expansions and golf shop renovation.

Throughout its nearly 120 year history, The Topeka Country Club has always been a warm and welcoming gathering place for members to call home. New amenities and décor further enhance the club experience and make Topeka Country Club an ideal spot for families to gather and create lasting memories. Plus, with an active social calendar filled with themed dinners, wine tastings, holiday celebrations, family movie nights and more, there’s always something going on at The Topeka Country Club.

Working with an award-winning team of architects and interior designers, the new clubhouse and accompanying amenities provide members with the perfect retreat from the rigors of everyday life.

Resort Style Pool

The new resort-style pool, complete in Spring 2018 is nearly two-times larger than the club’s previous pool and features a beach entry on the south end, a submerged bench for relaxing with friends and family on the north end, lap lanes and interactive water features for kids and parents to enjoy. New shade structures and outdoor furnishings provide members a place to relax while enjoying the pool area.

The new outdoor stage was designed for outdoor concerts and movie nights, while the expanded pool deck and patio area allows the club to host pool-side weddings, banquets and concerts with seating for up to 250 guests.

Health & Wellness Center

The Topeka Country Club’s clubhouse renovation and expansion included a new Health & Wellness Center featuring free weights, state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment, spin bikes, a group exercise room and Titleist Performance Institute technology to help club members improve their on-course performance. In addition, professional personal training and a comprehensive schedule of wellness programs for every fitness level has been offered in the new Health & Wellness Center.

Youth Room

Adjacent to the Health & Wellness Center, the Youth Room was designed to keep children entertained with the latest in gaming, technology, arts and crafts. The Youth Room is not a daycare facility and parents must remain on property while children enjoy Youth Room activities.

Grille Room

The Topeka Country Club’s expanded and renovated Grille Room restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows with incredible views of our award-winning Perry Maxwell-designed golf course. Serving expertly prepared cuisine in an atmosphere of relaxed elegance, the Grille Room boasts exceptional service and is widely considered one of the best country club restaurants in the Midwest.

Woodland Room

Named for Topeka native professional golfer and 2019 U.S. Open Champion, Gary Woodland, this dining area is the perfect spot for a post-round beverage or a casual lunch with friends. Featuring full-service amenities and populated by several TV's to keep up on your favorite golfer to team.

Lounge & Board Room

Adjacent to the Grille Room, the expanded Lounge is the perfect spot for drinks before dinner, casual dining and watching big games. The new private Board Room is ideal for meetings, small functions and private dinners.

Golf Shop and More

During the expansion and renovation project, the club’s Golf Shop, administrative offices and bag storage area were also expanded to allow for improved member and guest services.

All clubhouse renovations and expansions, including the Health & Wellness Center, the Grille Room, Lounge and Golf Shop opened for business in January 2019.
